Dr Suhad Hassan is a highly experienced Australian Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist on the Gold Coast.
Dr Hassan has her private practices in Benowa and at Gold Coast Private Hospital, and is known for her compassionate care and warm, gentle touch. Dr Hassan understands how powerful the moment of childbirth is for a woman. No matter how many babies she has delivered, Dr. Hassan has never lost sight of the impact that moment has on her patients.
Dr Hassan has more than a decade of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and was the Staff Specialist at Logan Hospital - in charge of high risk pregnancy patients, as well as performing all gynaecological and advanced laparoscopic procedures.
Dr Hassan has lived on the Gold Coast for over 18 years, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Queensland in 2003. During her training, she worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, QE II and Townsville Hospitals. She has also been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity of spending 6 months with the Flying Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service.
